DIESELPOWER attaches great importance to the operational safety and stability of the products used in vehicles.
The quality management system corresponds to the requirements of international and German road traffic law based on ISO 9002 and is subject to ongoing controls.
The electromagnetic compatibility of the products for use in motor vehicles has been verified (e1*72/245*2006/28*4697). All DIESELPOWER and Multi Motion , as well as Powerklick products have an e1 approval (EG type approval) for electronic subassemblies.
For the electronics used in motor vehicles, reports are constantly being prepared in accordance with § 19 Paragraph 3 No. 4 StVZO and AirCare® (Canada). As of September 2013, almost 600 TÜV parts certificates are available for more than 3,000 vehicle types.
We always try to cover a maximum of vehicle types with TÜV parts certificates.
TÜV parts certificates are not available for vehicles with truck registration.
The test procedure for trucks stipulates that the engine must be tested when it is removed. This is not feasible in terms of effort and costs.

Notes on their own behalf
According to EC Regulation 715/2007, only tested additional control units for increasing output and torque are permitted for vehicles with the Euro 5 and Euro 6 standard.
The legally regulated liability for material defects (warranty) cannot be excluded by the vehicle manufacturer, despite tuning measures, if the installed component has the necessary approvals such as ABE, e1 certification and TÜV parts certificate.
Even if accessories not approved by the factory were installed, the vehicle manufacturer must settle claims arising from the warranty.

In the automotive sector, it is not the pure performance data of a processor that is decisive, but rather its resistance to thermal and mechanical loads. (Military Quality)
High-end processors with extremely high performance data are not suitable for the automotive tuning area, nor are they necessary, since the speed of data processing of these processors is disproportionate to the speed of the data supplied by a combustion engine.
In addition, these components are highly sensitive and therefore susceptible to interference.
