If you’ve purchased or plan to purchase a 76260-01A/76160-01A Ford Transit Amp Research kit from a source other than one of our authorized sites, please note that it will not function without this Communication Module.

Here are the conditions for purchasing this module ala carte (separate from Amp Powerstep kit ) from us:

1. Warranty Disclaimer (When Purchasing a 76260-01A/76160-01A Ford Transit Amp Research kit from a source other than one of our authorized sites)

   • Installing this module will void the Amp Research Warranty on your kit.
   • The module itself is sold AS-IS, with no warranty, no returns, and no support.
2. Required Documentation:
   • A waiver must be signed, notarized, and include the VIN# of the vehicle where the kit will be installed and S/N of the Amp Kit.
   • This information will be linked to the serial number of the kit and submitted to Amp Research, officially voiding their warranty.
3. Final Sale Terms:
   • Any module purchased ala carte, from us is sold without warranty and is not eligible for support or returns.

Before proceeding, carefully consider whether this is worth it, given the limitations and lack of support or warranty coverage.

(Although we have yet had to warranty any of these kits. Possibly 3 more years before the warranties on the first round expire)

This warranty is provided exclusively by Northwest Overland LLC and is not affiliated with or supported by AMP Research.

What is Covered

Northwest Overland LLC warrants all defects in materials or workmanship on specific products purchased from us and properly installed according to provided instructions, except those covered under any separate agreements or shorter warranty periods specified.

For How Long

This warranty lasts for five years from the date of purchase and includes any implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The warranty becomes void if:

1. The product is removed from the original vehicle.
2. The original vehicle is transferred to another owner.
3. The product is not installed or used in compliance with the instructions.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and vehicle.

What This Warranty Will Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage, defects, or malfunctions caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents.
• Improper installation or modifications made to the product.
• Inadequate maintenance or environmental hazards, whether on-road or off-road.
• Incidental or consequential damages.

Note: Some states or provinces do not allow exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so these terms may not apply in certain cases.

What Northwest Overland LLC Will Do

During the warranty period, Northwest Overland LLC will, at our discretion, either repair or replace any defective product at no additional charge to you. The customer is responsible for any labor costs associated with removing or reinstalling the product.

If a specific product has been discontinued, Northwest Overland LLC may replace the product with a current product of comparable function and value.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To file a claim under this warranty, you must:

1. Provide proof of purchase.
2. Supply the product serial number and vehicle VIN# where the product is installed.
3. Include a detailed description of the issue along with photos or videos if applicable.
