The BumpStep is injection molded out of a proprietary resin that is incredibly strong, yet has mechanical properties that allow it to flex when hit, taking the brunt of any impact.  Created with a special two-step process, the resins synergize to offer added strength and impact resistance.  The base is a very strong material that resists flexing, while the second is a softer, impact-absorbing material.  It designed to fit any vehicle with a standard 2″ receiver hitch.

Billet BumpStep & Billet BumpStepXL

It’s HEAVY! It’s HANDMADE in America! It’s made from SOLID billet aluminum, has an AWESOME new design, and is the ultimate step-bumper protector!

The Billet BumpStep is made by hand in Bolingbrook, IL by American Machinists on American made CNC machines. This version is machined in two separate pieces to add in custom styling and a multitude of features. Only available in limited quantities, our machinists begin with an 18.7 pound solid aluminum billet for the step and a 5.98 pound solid aluminum billet for the post. Working across multiple CNC machines, it takes HOURS to sculpt each piece of aluminum down into the components used to create this product. Featuring specialized cut outs, the step itself is lightweight and easy-to-handle, all while maintaining its unbeatable durability and quality. The post and step are machined for a precision fit, and support USA made high-quality 304 stainless steel hardware. Custom fixtures had to be made, programs written and more specialized cutters purchased, all to make our newest, and worlds best bumper protector/step. The Billet BumpStep fits any vehicle with a standard 2″ receiver hitch. The aluminum is hard-anodized for corrosion resistance and scratch protection.
