LeMans Fan Product Information & Installation Guidelines
Fan Operation & Safety
- It is strongly recommended that you allow the fan to come to a complete stop before reversing its direction.
- Reversing the fan while in motion may result in motor burnout and potential damage.
Noise Comparison
- The LeMans fan generally produces more noise compared to a Maxxair fan due to its design and airflow efficiency.
Prewired Bezel & Control Plate
- The prewired bezel plate or prewired separate control plate includes a speed controller with a reversing switch.
- If purchasing the prewired bezel, it must be paired with the LeMans fan with louvers.
- We provide professional wiring for your convenience! A reference photo of the final product is available for review.
Interior Closure & Vent Design
- The interior closure can be operated manually or electrically.
- Unlike standard RV vents, this design features an interior air closure, offering a unique sealing method.
- The fan surround and cowl design effectively prevents moisture intrusion.
- Interior closure dimensions: 11.41″ diameter, ¾” thick.
- A snow filter is included with every fan purchase.
Installation Considerations
- These vents do not include a plenum to bridge the space between the roof interior and ceiling panel.
- AC foam seal can be used to fill this gap for a secure fit.
Weight & Mounting Adapter
- Total weight: 4 lbs 7 oz.
- We offer patent-pending mounting adapters to contour to your van’s roof.
- The adapter is not included unless selected at checkout (“with adapter” option).
- Please provide your van’s make, model, and year in the order notes. We will contact you to confirm the mounting position.
- We highly recommend using our adapter for optimal installation and performance.
